MMA-400 — Industrial Stick Welding Power Built for the Toughest Jobs
When you're welding on a pipeline, an offshore rig, or a heavy fabrication floor, you need a machine that delivers rock-solid arc stability without flinching. The MMA-400 Industrial Stick Welder from Doughty is built for exactly that — 350A output, dual IGBT modules, and a feature set designed for professional welders who can't afford downtime.
Why Professionals Choose the MMA-400:
Key Features
- 350A output, compatible with 6010/6011/6013/7018 rods, providing deep penetration welding.
- Dual IGBT module design ensures industrial-grade arc stability and impulse current suppression.
- Hot start & anti-stick technology for instant arc ignition and automatic rod release.
- Adjustable arc force and adaptive arc enhancement maintain stability over long cable runs.
- Portable 16.4kg body—easy to move yet robust enough for industrial production.
Suitable Scenarios
- Pipeline construction, shipbuilding, heavy steel structures.
- Offshore platforms or outdoor job sites with unstable power supply.
- Continuous long-duration work, e.g., 24-hour welding with 4.0mm rods.
- Precision welding of carbon steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and nickel alloys.
- Mobile operations and field maintenance—easy to transport and deploy quickly.
Differentiation from Competitors
- Up to 350A output with dual IGBT modules for a more stable, deeper arc.
- Unique hot start, anti-stick, and adaptive arc enhancement reduce downtime and user error.
- High-duty capability (60% @ 350A), allowing continuous operation rarely seen in this class.
- Handles 380V ±15% unstable power inputs, adapting to diverse job site conditions.

Vinova Testimonials
I've used all types, brands, mig, tig, spool guns, arc, and for the money this little guy surprised me, outperformed my expectations, hopefully it lasts, welded for 2 hours straight today right out the box. Only downfall is the fixed whip and lack of ability to run gas. But for a portable 110 mig on a 100 ft extension cord it delivered

This mig welder works great for what it is. It's a light duty welder, and they make no claims for it being anything else, but it's absolutely perfect for most home and hobbyist use.

I ran weld’s within its duty cycle and it performed perfectly. I’m truly impressed by the little button that adjusts the wire feed automatically. As far as performance, weak. If’n it can put out 80 amps I’d be impressed and if cranked up? Well it just kicks off. Maybe my units defective, idk. Nice even arc below 3/4 power though.
